THE STANFORD PRISION EXPERIMENT, a film produced by Kyle Patrick Alvarez and released in 2015. The work is based on the true story of a controversial experiment conducted by psychiatrist Philip Zimbardo in 1971.
Twenty-four male students are selected for an experiment with 'NUMAN NATURE' at Stanford University, where... in the basement of t he university campus... a mock prison will be built. The intent of the experiment was to prove psychology professor Philip Zimbardo's Theory that the personality traits of prisoners and guards are the main cause of abusive behavior among them. Soon, some of the students will take on the role of 'policemen', while others will be 'prisoners'. At first, everything seems normal, but over time, Zimbardo's theory seems to take shape and reach a perspective he didn't expect.
